Ok, on Wednesday at lunch I started to get a pain on my left side, it quickly spread to my whole upper back. It flet like gas. My breathing started to get shallow because of the pain. That is when I relized I hadn't had a bowel movement for 3 days. I called my doctor and they told me to get som Magneseium Citrate. I drank that disgusting crap that night. My doctor said it would take at least 30 minutes to start to work. Well three hours later I could feel some turning. Although I did go alittle, it didn't produce much. Anyway before I went to bed I started getting the chills and running around a 100.00 degree fever. The next morning I woke up with the same fever and also the good old aches that go with it. now I didn't go much Thursday as far as bowel movements, but this morning (Friday) when I woke up, I still had a fever, but I started to have pain in my lower abdomin, which yielded around 30 minutes of the skinnyest poop I had ever seen acompined with nausiea but when I was done ...

All my pain and nasiea went away. Amyway do yall think it is serious or just the stomach flu?

Sounds like it could be diverticulitis - inflammation of one or more diverticula, characterized by abdominal pain, fever, and changes in bowel movements.

Maybe. Or it could have been a partial small bowel obstruction. Same symptoms--plus you didn't go to the bathroom very well. That magnesium citrate should have cleaned you out! It may have at least pushed an obstruction out.

If it comes back---go see your doctor.

Sounds like the flu, but if it comes back call your dr. or go to the hospital right away.
