It can't be allergys, because i used to live in arizona where i had none, and once upon a time, my nose WAS fine... then one day, BAM (and it's really messed up my singing too, i sound all nasely).

I had my septum pierced, but both a doctor, piercer, and singing instructor, said that that would have no effect on my breathing and singing.

So, yahoo dwellers, i leave this in your hand.

Riddle me this,

wtf?

It is possible that you do have allergies. It's a myth that Arizona is this haven. It's not. But you may also be lactose-intollerant, which can create an excess of mucous.

Just because you "used" to live in Az. doesn't mean you can't have an allergy!
Allergy's develop when you least expect them. I know since I have "cured" them and developed "new" ones
I too have problem with stuffy nose and depend on nasal sprays and allergy tablets. Best thing I found was going to my doctor who prescribed a inhaler.

Have you ever tried a neti pot? It's an Ayervedic purification technique of running warm water through your nasal passages, clearing out mucus and the stuff that plugs you up. Go to this URL for more information. http://www.healingdaily.com/exercise/neti-pot.htm

Sounds gross, but works great. You'll be singing Puccini before you know it.

garlic works for me.

get the odorless pills and take them daily. works wonders.

being in AZ means nothing. unless you live in the desert. Phoenix has way too many non native plants and they throw up tons of pollen and other alergens.
