Giblets are the heart, liver and gizzard of the duck. You can use the giblets to make gravy or fry them to make appetizers or main dishes. If this doesn't sound appetizing to you, I suggest you follow the other answerers and either throw them away or cook them and feed them to your pet.

Put onion and couple carrots in a pan with giblets, cover with water, boil then skim. Simmer for about an hour. Remove giblets liquidise it all up and season. You're left with a lovely stock for gravy which can be frozen for later use.

You can use them in your stuffing...here's a recipe.
Roast Duck Stuffed with Apples and Grapes
Duck giblets
1/2 lbs. mushrooms, wiped and coarsely chopped
4 greening apples, cored and sliced (do not peel)
1 1/2 c. sweet grapes, washed, halved and seeded
2 c. unblanched hazelnuts
1 tsp. salt
2 c. apple cider,for basting
Cover the duck giblets with water in a small saucepan, and simmer for 30 minutes. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of the water. Chop the giblets for the stuffing. Mix the giblets ans 1/2 cup giblet water with the stuffing ingredients. Stuff both the neck and body cavities of the duck, skewer shut and truss. Prick the skin of the duck well with a sharp fork. Wrap any remaining stuffing in aluminum foil. Place the duck, breast side up, on a rack in a large roasting pan. Place foil wrapped stuffing on the side of the bird. Roast in a hot 400 degree oven for 1 hour, pricking skin and basting with the apple cider every 20 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees, and continue to roast for 2 hours, pricking the skin and basting with cider and drippings every 20 minutes.

Confit Duck Giblets
INGREDIENTS
500g Duck Giblets
1 cup sea salt granules
1 bay leaf
1 sprig thyme
Duck fat or Olive oil enough to cover giblets
METHOD
Place the giblets in a flat dish and cover with the salt & herbs.
Leave for 12 hrs.
Remove the giblets from the salt and rinse off under cold water.
Drain well.
Place in a roasting dish and cover with melted duck fat of olive oil.
Cook in a cool oven 150 deg 2-3 hrs until tender.
Remove Giblets from fat and allow fat to settle.
Place giblets in a storage container and spoon over fat until covered (do not let any of the other liquid go into the giblets).
Store in the fridge until ready to use.
Manx Salt Duck
Serves 4
1 Duck
600ml (1 pint) Stock, (made with duck giblets)
300ml (½ pint) Dry Cider
1 Onion, sliced
Sea Salt
¼ tsp Saltpetre
Freshly Ground Pepper
Liberally sprinkle a deep earthenware dish with sea salt.
Rub the inside of the duck liberally with sea salt, place the duck in the dish.
Sprinkle the top with a mixture of sea salt and saltpetre.
Leave in a cool place for 24 hours turning once or twice.
Wash the duck thoroughly, pat dry with kitchen paper.
Pre-heat oven to 180°C: 350°F: Gas 4.
Place the onions in the base of an flameproof dish, placing the duck on top.
Pour over the stock and cider, season with pepper.
Bring to the boil over a medium heat, skim as needed.
Transfer to the pre-heated oven to 180°C: 350°F: Gas 4.
Bake 1¾ hours, or until tender.
Serve with Onion Sauce, green vegetables and potatoes.
I guess you can reduce the Giblets to stock or buy another duck and then make the dish with the old giblets thrown in.

Boil the giblets with pre caramalised onion and reduce the liquid down to concentrate the flavour. Add squeezed orange juice and grated peel, and some red wine. You can also add marmalade if you want. Again reduce as necessary and add a little sugar to taste. Thicken with a little cornflour if necessary. Enjoy! Quack Quack

If perhaps it's a fruit they have seeds, otherwise it's a vegetable. And vegetables are usually grown in the ground while fruits are grown in trees.

take them out the bag shove them back in the bird and cook it they add to the flavour and can also be eaten
