Jews have long been accepted in muslim lands, all the way from andalusia to turkey. During the Crusades, when the Christians took Jerusaleum, nothing was spared(Muslims, Jews, children, animals). Muslim countries accepted Jews when Europe was killing for various reasons(blamed for black plague, accusations of killing Jesus(pbuh), and the infamous inquisition). They were given great jobs in the land of Muslims, all they had to do is pay an extra tax because they were not forced to serve in the military(i.e. Muslims defended the rights of Jews and Muslims and Christians alike in their lands). When France colonized Algeria, the Jews were given French citizenship, and that quickly most Jews(not all) forget who had been taking care of them for centuries(i.e. sided with the French who killed over 1 million Algerians in the final 10 years of occupation). There are countless examples of such cases.

After WWII, there was much propaganda about Palestine. They called A Land with No People for a People with No Land. This is an outright lie. Palestinians accepted their immigration until the Jews started taking more and more land that did not belong to them, this including ripping the Palestinians off.
If Israel was a democratic country, the offices would be held by muslims because there are so many more Palestinians than Israelis. The Government doesn't even represent the majority.
Some Americans will go on to say that Israel(which a parasite of the US) deserves the land, I say that if you say that you are hypocrites and have no honor. Who's land was your house built on? Who lived here before you? Were they treated fairly? The answer is as simple if a person can use his logical faculties

It was the people of the west who killed Jews not muslims, and yet muslims are paying for it

If Jews deserve Israel should the U.S. give up their government and give it back to the Native Americans?

First of all, I respect what you wrote and the way you presented that question, thank you.
I am as concerned with that issue, I have posted something on hi5.com which was answered by, I think, an Israili "organisation" but nevermind I just wanted you and everyone who sees this qusetion to check out the points of conflict:

Anyway, Palestine ( I refuse to even call it Israel) is not by any means the right of Israilians.. The reason is crystal-clear but some ppl just don't want to believe it ( the mind sees what it chooses to see)..
Before the Israilians colonised Palestine, before the Crusades snatched it from Muslims, before even The Pope controlled the armies of Europe, where were the Israilies?
Who owned Palestine??
It's very clear and no history book whatsoever could deney it, The Arabs had it, it was theirs!
Israilies were scattered all over the world! They had no specific country.
Other claims suggest that Palestine has to be owned by Israilies for it spiritual values, for it is the "Promised Land"
If so, then it's the right of all three religions; it's been a very important place for Islam, Christianity and Judaism.
This is no reason to claim land.
and I salute you for the last comment, I say if Americans support Palestinians giving up their land, then Americans should as well give up their land to Native Americans!
It's the same in both:
Americans discovered the land, red indians were there but weak, so the land was unjustly given to Americans for they were stronger.
And same: Israilies had no other place to go, found a land with weak inhabitants, claimed it theirs by sly means and the story begins..
P.S: A glimpse of what happened in Lebanon by poor little Israilians:

Thank You for telling the truth about Israel. You forgot one point however that I would like to make, This land originally belonged to the Canaanites and was ruled by Egypt, the descendants of the Canaanites are today in Lebanon so if we are trying to say give it back to the original owners then it would either belong to Lebanon or Egypt. Jews were not the original inhabitants, they did not come until the time of Moses. Also they were not charged a tax because of their religion, the tax that they were charged was because they did not have to serve in the army. Since they did not have to risk their life in defense of their country they were charged for that defense. When you think about how they sided with the French I am sure that you can understand why they were not trusted. The Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) told us that we had to respect the people of the book, even if they do not respect us. Consider that until the 18th century Jews had no citizenship anywhere in Christian land, they were allowed to live in some counties such as Holland but they had legal curbs on what they could own, where they could work and travel. Under Muslim rule an agreement called the dhimma gave Jews the right to practice their religion, open the synagogues that had been closed under the Christian rule, their clergy was given the right to impose taxes on them for their collective needs (i,e, maintenance of the synagogues, rabbis livelihood etc.) The truth is that the Jews were treated better by the Muslims that they have ever treated them in return. The Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) even took a Jew for a wife,, when she came to him in tears because she was being teased by some women he told her to say "My father is the Prophet Aaron, my uncle is the Prophet Moses, and my husband is as you know the Prophet Muhammed. What more can anyone say to you? This shows that he treated her well and this is why when the prophet gave her the opportunity to return to her people Safiyya refused because she was deeply in love with him.

Israel is in the wrong place. It should be moved to Baja California, where it won't bother anybody.
Steven Spielberg could easily recreate all the main Jewish attractions as dioramas in the desert down there, and perhaps the Israelis could get lucky nad find oil in the Gulf close by, which is better than what they get in the middle east.
As to the Jews deserving Israel, it IS the only spot in the middle east without oil, which should make it easier for them to admit that it was a big mistake to accept Britain's offer of a 'holy land' in the middle east in the first place.

Israel is the ONLY true Jewish state.Jews have always lived there to some extent.Palestine is merely another name for Israel coined by the Romans to deny the Jewish heritage of Israel.Jews have used the term Palestine for thousands of years,Arabs have used that term for only about 100 years. Israel is a democracy that protects Jewish and non-Jewish rights alike.Israel was being reborn in the late 19th century with the Zionism movement

On a very basic level and in a nutshell, after WW2, land was offered to both Jews and Palestinians by the commissions set up by the Allies. However, the Palestinians did not want the Jews to have any of Palestine, asserting that Jews did not have a right to exist as a people.
The Jews subsequently voted on it, accepted and recieved the land which is now Israel. The Palestinians were left out in the cold due to their own fault.

You know, its funny, but the jews never did need taking care of, and for your info, imposing a tax on someone because of theirreligion is not exactly taking care of them. besides, the time periods you are talking about when the Jews lived peacefully in the middle east was before Islam invaded jerusalem. and most people placed theblame for the black plague right where it belonged , on theshoulders of the arabian traders who brought rats with theirtrade goods to italy. and if you really think that doing the meanial work for lazy arabs is such a great job, why don't you come here to north america andbe thegarbage men stable hands and toilet scrubbers, because those were the only jobs open to jews in arabic countries
Why bother lieing. most of us have educations, which you obviously don't.

1)Although Jews were treated better in Muslim lands, it still wasn't great. There were some pogroms. Also, in modern times, that isn't true anymore.
2)Jews are still the majority.
3)Send the Arabs to Jordan, since the Jews who were in Arab lands were sent to Israel.
4)Do you have a question?

There have always been Jews in Israel............since the Exodus. Yes, they deserve the land. It is theirs.
I always defend Muslims (except terrorists)---------they have a great religion-----much more logical than Christianity. And, if it were not for these terrorists, Muslims and Jews would be living side by side, in peace. They are blood brothers........the sons of Abraham.
