Well if you have someone, who is like your best friend, and your best lover, and your best support, then that's like finding your soulmate. Cause as 'best friends' you won't really argue, and if you do, you talk to each other and find a compromise, as friends do...rather than go cheat or divorce for the sake of "differences." The sex (if there is sex) would also be great, because of the love for each other, and the more you explore in how to get the ultimate pleasure, the more you connect. And also your best support, because in whatever each of you do, you'll have their back, and do what it takes to make sure they make it, through bad times and good....just like a best friend would. THAT'S when you can safely say you got a soulmate. Never try to do you wrong, and will always be there for you, as your friend, as your lover, and as your supporter.

I think that there really is no "one" soulmate. I think you can have a deep connection with any number of people if you're willing to do it. That's why relationships fail, it's because other things get in the way. If two people make up their minds to make it work and to put each other first, you will have soulmates, which doesn;t necessarily mean you agree on everything and want everything the same, it means that you are OPEN to possibilities that the other brings into your life.

There is nothing like soulmate. There are so many people in this world. You just have to pick the one who seems to have more things in common wid you than all the others and go for that person. :)

I believe everyone "thinks" they've met their soulmate when they first get together - However, time will reveal other traits that don't show up right away. That's not to say that "soul mates" don't argue, it just means that you have that underlying connection that can't be broken no matter what.

If you have been with him for over a year, not had actual sex, and feel sad everytime he has to leave. This sounds gay, but not having sex before you get married to "the one" is important in my opinion. If you have had sex tell him you would like to stop and wait; see how he reacts--> this might help tell you if he is "the one". If you were having sex then make sure you still do some stuff like "making out". Just not actual sex. I went though all those feelings about 1-2 years ago; now I'm married to her. Peace

If he is the only one you ever look at and don't find any other man interesting then he's the one. If you can always smile when you think about him then he's the one. If you count down the hours till your together again then you got it he's the one.If you can say without any doubt you love him with all your heart and never want anyone else then he must be your soul mate!!
Then he's your true love and soul mate, don't let him go.

WHEN YOU WAKE UP IN THE MORNING AFTER YOU PRAY AND THANK GOD AND ALL YOU THINK ABOUT IS HIM THEN HE IS YOUR SOULMATE. IF YOU FEEL SOMETHING INTENSE GOOD OR BAD AND U CALL A PERSON AND THE FEELING IS TRUE YOU KNOW THEY ARE THE ONE. WHEN YOU WOULD GIVE IT YOUR ALL AND NOTHING CAN KEEP YOU FROM THE CHEMISTRY THAT YOU FEEL THEN THEY R THE ONE. BOTTOM LINE YOU ARE CONNECTED BY THE SOUL AND HEART YOU WILL KNOW.

If you just met you can't tell. See each other for six months and then you will know.If you are fortunate enough to have found that special someone you will know in your heart hoe great that person makes YOU feel.

you can feel it. like yesterday I was looking at our picture thinking about him how it used to be how I still love him and he called last night .[ haven't heard from him for 3 months] it could of been coincidence. we have been broke up for 14 months but keep in touch.and I just can't let go and move on.I won't commit to anyone else.

Because it stops being about you and you want to start giving to him. Suddenly you become the second most important person in the world.
