Try this one: Christians have done far more persecuting in history than any other religion.
The number of people who have died for not being christian is... to say the least... astronomical.
Whats even more hilarious is that to this very day... christians are even persecuting each other! The crazy sh!t that goes on in Ireland still between Protestants and Catholics is obscene... not least since the differences are at best surface detail.
Then again, Islam is gradually catching up in the pointless-religious-fighting department.

Every group seeks to stengthen their identity by avidly pursuing the victim dynamic. Like all of us, Christians have been both persecuted and have been the persecutors. In fact, if it weren't for the Roman emperor mandating Christianity as the official religion and persecuting all those who wouldn't comply, Christianity wouldn't exist in its large appeal today. Add to that the Crusades and the horrible things done in the name of Christianity and the 'face of innocence' is a stretch.

I would doubt that Christians have been 'far more persecuted'. They most certainly have gone through persecution, and have, in turn, done more than their fair share of presecution in return.
I don't pretend to speak for all world religions, but I reckon I'm on pretty sure ground when I say that Jews have suffered persecution more (and have, in fact, been persecuted by Christians).
And I dare say there are some other religions who have been persecuted just as much.

Lets see,the Jews were in slavery as a society for how long in Egypt? And how many Jews were killed in the holocaust? Even as an unbiased observer I have to go with the Jews being the most persecuted. If anything Christians are tied with Islam on being the ones to most persecute others. What Christians have is a persecution complex, anytime someone questions them they're being "persecuted"

No, but they have persecuted others far more than any other religion. Just look at the last 2000 years.

No, its just that the story of suffering Christians is something that a Western person is fed with his or her mother's milk. Just ask around: a Jew thinks they are the most persecuted people around, a Muslim is sure they have suffered the most, Buddhists have their own story to tell ... It must be a common human condition, martyrdom (and taking pride in it)

Disagree. The Jews have had more persecution. Examples; babylonian oppression, (such as Daniel), the Crusades, today the Muslims wanting to wipe Israel off the map, Nazi Germany, etc.
