You should start seeing results in two weeks

That depends on what results you are expecting. Aching muscles and some pain will be in evidence very quickly, but should subside over time. As long as the exercise is accompanied by a sensible diet, weight loss in a few weeks, but don't weigh yourself more than once a week.

Assuming your diet is also good then you should start seeing results quickly.

It really depends on your goal (e.g. weight loss and / or toning) but in either case als consider mixing your exercises e.g. do running / cycling / weight training on some days and rowing / pilates on others. This way your body can't adjust or get into any routine which is great to keep those calories burning.

Within a month you will have noticiably toned up very well I would think, you should actually see the first results in 2 weeks.

certainly within a month, however your exercise routine will become just that- a routine- if you enjoy the rowing machine why not take the next step and find out about your local rowing club, it is one of the healthiest sports, is a great social life and a lot more fun
