We aren't afraid. The idiot the people of Iraq voted for won't let us go into Sadr City because Maliki owes Sadr for winning him the election.

Yet another load of horse crap by erudite...

The military is not becoming unnerved... and I am quite sure you are not the military genius and expert to know what military strategy is for the best...

Next.... this was an AP writer, not CNN, making these statements.... parts of an article, which of course you did not cite...

There also were no American troops there.... and the British troops that WERE there in the past were also long gone.... which if you would have linked the article or posted the whole thing, would have been very evident... but that would not have fit your manipulated view....

So... for everyone else's benefit, I have linked the real and complete article in my sources section of my post here....

If they were to take him on sure the US army could easily kill say 1-2 million of his followers, but there would still be enough of them in Iraq or Iran prepared to kill every American in Iraq. The only reason he got so powerful was the fact that the US did not have enough troops to inforce martial law after the invasion.this led to a void of security which was filled by people like Muqtada Al-Sadr who is loyal to the ayatollahs in Iran and respected for the protection he has given to the Shia during the conflict.

Our troops are not afraid of Al-Sadr or any other fanatic islamist. Until now they have been ordered to keep their hands off of him. Besides, whenever his militia is engaged they run like the cowards they are into the nearest mosque, which American troops are banded from firing on by their rules of engagement.

PS. CNN is not known for its support of our troops.

You are hardly "erudite." The American troops have unfortunately allowed their hands to be tied by liberal polticians. REGARDLESS of how Iraq ends, American should FINISH al-Sadr. He is part of the problem and not the solution.

he's is a dead man and the troops are letting him dig his grave. American troops are not scared of any crazed sheep herding camel clown.
