i still like this guy - we had a couple of dates previously. i want to hook up with him to see if there is something there but want it causal and i don't want him to think i'm asking him out on a date... so how do i do it? any suggestions please....

I suggest you ask him out for a drink by text, only put one kiss at the end of the text and he wont think anything of it.
I suggest a friendly text like
"Hi how are you? Do you wanna go for a drink sometime next week? x" And your name at the end, then you'll soon see :)

well first of all dress in ur most fabulous clothes ex.Mini skirts from abercrombie glittery shirt acceroices such as some big pearls and a couple of bangles with flipflops. Pass by him looking casual with a lose wave and a little smile. It wont be to noticable if u do that. If he's been giving u singles then u definantly know tht he will ask u out or something llike that. Have a huge party and invite him or ask him if he wanted to hang out! It's ok if u ask him on a date show that ur cofindent and are willing to give him a shot. Im sure it wil work because... I had the same problem...

Don't do something gay like everyone else said.... Trust me --> take him out and do an activity that you both do together. It does not have to be something crazy. Try bowling, ice skating, skating, carve pumpkins together (sounds dumb but it's fun). I am sure there are other activities in your area, but this will give you an idea of what kind of person he is. If you want to make it casual then invite a friend who has a boyfriend that is easy to get along with. LASTLY- if this guy does not do "dorky" stuff like get you flowers, open doors for you and that kind of stuff --> DUMP HIM NOW! trust me, trust me, trust me you want a NICE GUY.... (but a good looking one too)
if you dont want it to sound like you are asking him on a date then invite him over just to hang out and then act like it is a spontaneous decision to go out with some friends or just you and him

its all about keeping it casual. dont go on anymore dates, take the dude to a party or whatever. be cooler than him, and make it clear hes kicking it with u, not the other way round

be nice to him, and flirt a little. give him the impression that you wanna go casual. ask him what he's been up to lately. he may just ask you out. make sure he understands you wanna go casual
