There is no "almost" about it.
Knowledge itself is a fallacy.

All we have are assumptions based on consistancy... i.e. the more repeatable something seems, the more we will tend to view it as true.... or at least thats right of the sensible ones among us. The religious idiots will tend to accept something as true just because their parents (or whoever else) told them it was so.
Of course it doesn't mean that we can know for certain that they're wrong.... but they're certainly inconsistant, and since consistancy is the basis of all knowledge, we can be -fairly- sure that they're bullsh!tting.
