we have a very rocky past with all that stuff and are trying to get back together and I am always questioning him about going there. I feel crazy and like I should be okay with it. But I just am not okay with it. Are there any other women out there who just cannot handle it or am I just weird?

First, he's your bf not your husband. he has not made a vow to you to love, honor and respect, and forsake all others.
yes, I realize it's implied, all those things above but vows of purity have not been exchanged. Now, about the strip club. wrong. they are just wrong. they degrade the poor girls showing off themselves.
they defile the men watching. Just wrong. worse, you think I guy only wants to watch? can a man take fire to himself and not be burned?
Guys, like young calfs have to be roped, and corralled.
If he loves you he's got to prove it. bye bye strip clubs. if he loves them then bye bye you.
maybe he'll realize you're better than eye candy.
maybe you'll realize, I want better in a man.

I am not a woman, but my wife has no problem with me going. I have never cheated on her and I only go about 1-2 time a year for bach parties and stuff like that. A lot of women do have a problem with it and I can see why. If my wife had a problem with it I would stop going. He has less chance picking up a girl there than any bar.

You are not weird and you have a right not to like it. When My fiance and I started dating he did not want to give up his night out with the guys at a strip club,it really botherd me badly,so to get my point across I got 3-4 of my girlfriends and reserved us a front row table to see the male strippers,we took pictures one of the guys fed me a strawberry from his mouth (it was on a tooth pick so not nasty) my friend snapped the picture,my fiance was furious so ticked he could not stand it,So I told him I would not go again if he did not go again.he has not been in 4 years.sometimes revenge is what you need after all Do unto others what you would want done to you!!!

I don't think there is anything wrong with guys going to strip clubs for those special occassions like bacholor parties. But if your guy likes to frequent these places just to hang out, I would not be okay with it. I say No Go!

no its not crazy at all, it is wrong for men that are involved with a girl- boyfriend or husband to go to a strip club,my bf is only 17 so he cant go yet but if i ever catch him there it will be the end of that, the only time wouldbe maybe for his bachelor party.

No you are not weird. I think this is totally degrading. My husband and I have been in many fights over this. I finally gave in for his bachelor party but it wasn't easy. Now we have it limited to only going when his close friends are having a special occasion there. Otherwise he is NOT allowed to go. It sounds very controlling but it's not. It's a very emotional thing and you have to get your man to understand that. Good Luck!

I've never had that jealous thing that a lot of other people have. But just ask yourself this -- is it okay with you that he hangs out low class 'dives' and ogles naked women ?
Also, is it okay for him to disrespect you ?
Stop the DRAMA and stop questioning him -- you already know the answer !

I personally don't have issue with it...I've gone with my boyfriend on several occasions. But if you have trust issues then I can see why you have problems with him going. Sit him down and explain to him why you don't like him going and if he is really into making things work out then perhaps you guys can come to a compromise. Men are voyeuristic by nature so they like to look ALOT.....
