Dont go Kardammena! Went with 14 girls and everyone out there is after sex! Im not a boring person I love going out but had a boyf at the time and found it scary. Go to Mastihari, its the other side if the island and the sea is warmer. Its quieter but i went with a friend and we still had fun in the bars. you can always hire a car and go kardamena but it wasnt all thats. Condoms on the beach in the morning...nice! I love Greece but saw a completely different side to it out there!Good luck, hope I havent put you off too much, Im only being honest because I have seen both sides of the island!

Ever thought about Madeira,? if you are into Lavada walking a great place to go as well as unpacked beaches & tours around this pleasant sunshine island of flowers staying in Old Machico would be quite reasonably & it`s not too far from the airport which if the new one is in place is an experience just landing! So really cheap holidays available off the net seek & you should find somewhere for under £700 for two half board.

For somewhere different you could try Budapest, Hungary. Eating out is not that expensive if you choose the right places, there is plenty to see and do if you like culture, and like Paris, they close off a boulevard by the river (in this case the Danube) every year and cover it with sand. Public transport is not expensive compared to UK. There are hotels that are expensive here, but also places that are cheaper. Try the links I have provided and see if it takes your fancy. Sadly, I expect to be leaving the city after a wonderful year or so working here.

You could try Tunisia, we went for a week full board and it was only £150 per person - not bad!! You can find lots of deals on most big websites like lastminute.com. Once you're there you can sit by the pool (very hot in the summer though), go to the beach, or go on a safari to see the Sahara and roman ruins - quite good value for money, all in all.
