It is heartening to hear that a preist who preaches peace is under threat.

I think it's extremeists (who are not a good example of their religion) who are threatening him. And honestly, has anyone bothered to read the whole speech that started this mess? It was all about tolerance. That infamous line that everyone is up in arms about was an example of intolerance that Pope Benedict wanted us to move past. The rest of his three page speech was on the theme of, "Let us live together in harmony".

Have you heard of the 3rd Secret? It was a a prophesy that was
sealed away by the church long ago. A Pope opened it
at a certain date, started crying, and sealed it back up. It said
the last Pope will be killed by some soldiers. And according to
prophesy, this Pope is the last one.
I don't know if it willl be during a war, or at the command of the
antichrist. But I believe in prophesy.

I have not heard that he is under threat. I resent what the Pope said, just like millions of muslims do. It stirs hatred and it is false. However, I do resent violence and killing too, just as millions of muslims do and just like true Islam does.
By the way, if you go through his speach, he does not preach peace. But still, not an excuse for violence.
May Allah have mercy on us all.

Why? Because he implied that islam is an ignorant and intolerant "religion".
So, in response, muslims declared that he be killed on sight.
That's pretty intelligent and tolerant, huh?
