i get the injection efi but whats casting on maifold mean

It was one of Ford Europe's first attempts at "engine bay beautification". To impress prospecive customers with the fact that their new engines all had electronic fuel injection (EFI) they decided to cast the manifold with these letters embossed, clear to see as soon as the bonnet was opened.
