Like i might not have that again (not that I am looking right now) What are your experiences? I wonder if I should have stayed with her because I think all the girls my age would be taken by the time I feel ready to look again. (this is the age where they want to settle down,so i'm told!)
6 years is a long time.should I have made it permenant?

6, 3, 2 years together before going perminant is not what i would focus on.

i think its more important to ask yourself, is he the right guy to settle down with? if thats what you want.

if you feel hes the only suitable cantidate cos is 6 years with him, then i would suggest start dating other guys to have a god idea of how other realtioships work.

the best answer to your question is do what feels right with the right person, then youll know when youre ready.

It's not "years" that make a relationship its the quality and happiness of the time together. I was with a guy for 22 years and left. Don't waste your life with someone because u think there won't be any good ones out there. Do you really want to spend years with someone and realize u haven't been happy for half of them? I am 41 years old, and I am taking the chance to find someone who I can be truly happy with. The right woman will come along for u when u are ready.

NO you shouldn't have. I was with someone for 6 years, even when I knew I was wasting my time. I stayed because I thought the same thing. But literally one week I woke up and it hit me. What am I doing here with him?? I don't love him anymore. So two days later, it was over, and even though it was hard getting use to NOT being around him, the happier I felt with myself and the happier I was with my life, made it worth leaving. You'll feel those feelings again with someone else, it just takes time. Even though it's considered selfish, you have to do what makes you happy. He stopped making me happy, and the relationship was more of a hassle than it was fun. So, why stay!? Good luck.

No NO NO...You are young...There are many wonderful
single women out there. If you stay with someone who isn't
right, you may miss the opportunity to find the right woman.
There are people out there of all ages..You have a lifetime
to find the right one..!

(I'm in my 40's and found the love of my life recently. I had
never been in love before till now...)

see? you're young! Wait for the right one and it will be worth it.
