When a person with an egg allergy eats a food that contains eggs, the immune system unleashes an army of chemicals to protect the body. The release of these chemicals can affect the respiratory system, gastrointestinal tract, skin, and the cardiovascular system — causing allergy symptoms like wheezing, nausea, headache, stomachache, and itchy hives

Allergic reactions to wheat (IgE-antibody mediated) usually begins within minutes or a few hours after eating or inhaling wheat. The more common symptoms involve the skin (urticaria [hives], eczema, angioedema [swelling due to allergy]), the gastrointestinal tract (abdominal cramps, nausea and vomiting, oral allergy syndrome) and the respiratory tract (asthma or allergic rhinitis). In association with exercise, reactions to gliadin or gluten can cause urticaria, angioedema or life-threatening anaphylaxis. As these proteins are present in other cereals, these symptoms may also occur in wheat-allergic individuals due to cross-reactivity.

Black Pepper!! I suffered with exactly the same symptoms as you ,plus swollen saliva glands. Black Pepper was the culprit. Since eliminating it, I have never suffered again!

Any type of allergy can cause that, but I think it would be more likely caused by things you breathe instead of eat. Sinus pressure is a histamine reaction, and that is your body trying to get rid of some kind of toxin. If you're allergic, your body thinks cat dander, etc. is toxic (even though it's not really). Since your sinuses are connected with your respiratory system through your nose, I think sinus pressure would be more easily triggered by breathing an allergen, but that reaction could be triggered by ANY allergy. Good luck, and Bless You!

It could be yeast. When a person has too much yeast in their system, it's called Candida. You could try a yeast-free, gluten-free diet. This means no breads made with yeast (you can get yeast and gluten free bread at the health food store). This also means no sugar of any sort (yeast feeds off of sugar) and no fruit except for watermelon (because most fruit contains sugar). Also no dairy including cheese, milk, yogurt, etc., although soy products are fine. I had this problem a few years ago and this diet, although difficult for me to follow, was very helpful. Here are some good web sites to check for more info.

Good luck - hope you feel better.

you will probably need to stay away from cheese and other bread items most of them have wheat or some other ingredient which is bad for people who are allergic too.
i would guess you may be trying to get a sinus infection and explains the sinus pressure and headache.

Anything is possible. You have mentioned the most common ones. I would say that it is an inhaled allergy that would cause this sort of problem. Are you controlling for dust, dander and mold?

sounds like a food allergy. And the only way for you to figure that out is to eat and then watch for any symptoms. I get it from chocolate, dairy, wheat and oil.
