You buy a genuine copy, Microsoft will not help you with your problems but may offer you a discounted price if you unknowingly installed a pirate copy.
Or you can install a different operating system like Linux which is gaining in popularity.

Buy a genuine copy! Microsoft can now check who has illegal copies of XP and your time will come when they shut down your computer.
Also, you can't get windows updates and your computer is open to security attacks.

You will need to buy a genuine copy. It is all very well downloading it from somewhere but it is virtually useless without the key code that comes with it when it comes to validation etc. There are cracks etc but is it really worth it?

unfortunately the only way to make your xp a genuinee copy is to buy a genuin one. i found out mine is not either and well now looks like we have to pay for it yet again. sorry.

Hey, you have still two choice
1.Buy the original Windows installation disc.
2.Crack the existing version using a tool. Do following... Goto http://astalavista.am and search 'Windows advantage validation' and download newest version. Note:Cracking is ILLEGAL and I AM not responsible for any damage to your PC. Enjoy:-)
