Is your baby breast feeding? You didn't say, but if the child is getting breast milk or formula when hungry then they won't eat regular food.
Try giving her/him food when she/he is hungry, rather than giving a bottle. It will be tough for you and the baby for a few meals, all the crying and fussing will make you doubt yourself, but stick to it and she/he will begin to eat when hungry. Promise.
The other thing you might check is the baby's teeth. If there is a problem with the teeth, they might not want to eat because of pain.

Firstly you should check him/her for any medical problems. But if baby is happy then it is most likely just a stage he's going through. As long as he is getting enough nutrition is all that really matters. They dont really need that much food to get by and will not let themselves starve! Try him on different finger foods as in fruits, breads etc. in little pieces to feed himself. If you experiment with enough different things there is bound to be something he will eat. They seem to be always changing habits and before you know it he will be eating fine. Main thing is for YOU not be be worried as he may sense this and be uncomfortable. I've had 4 kids and believe me they can change like the wind. May well be teething problem too. Good luck

My first thought is that your baby is teething. Try soft foods that won't hurt so much to chew. Above all, don't substitute junk food just to get something into him. The empty calories will satisfy the immediate hunger but not give nutrition. A phone call to your local advice nurse or pediatrician should ease your mind and also talk to some more experienced moms who also know your child. Remember, it's better to go to the doctor and find out it's nothing than to worry about looking silly and then discover your child was seriously ill. Take care.

My son is fifteen months also and he has gone through that. He was eating table food well until he got sick and threw up a few months ago. After that he didn't even want to try to eat solid food. We have been slowly re-introducing it back to him since then. He still eats baby food a lot but some days he eats more table food than others. He loves tyson chicken nuggets cut up really small. He also likes vegetables, but wants them to be mushed. He will eat from mine or my husbands plates most days, so we just feed him our food for now. All babies are different, some have different tastes than others, some just prefer babyfood over table food. Personally, I think my son is lazy some days and doesn't want to chew his food, he just wants to swallow it. Good luck. "This too shall pass"

Baby food is a good option. For my children this has been an awkward age. No molars to chew so they mostly have to swallow food whole. My youngest has reverted more to baby food at this age even though she was eating cut up dinner food with us before. Another option at any point is mixing Carnation Instant Breakfast with milk. This was recommended to my by my doctors when my son refused to eat. It becomes a liquid meal instead. Good luck. As always, if you feel as a parent that there is something wrong then you should go with your instints.

My son goes through this from time to time. His doctor told me that children go through phases of eating habits. If you baby isn't in the mood for solid food all the time, it is ok. I learned that when he does this to give him noodles. If it has been a few feeding since your baby seemed to eat well, try that. It will pass.

My child had a hard time during this age. I found out that she was filling up on fluids and didn't want any solids. Make sure you offer solid foods (cut up into very small pieces) before any fluids are even shown to he/she. I had to wait til they at least tried to eat before pouring them a cup of anything.

Are you still feeding baby jar food?.........you can start to give her REAL food......my daughter has no interest in food.....even to this day......
And from 6-12 months I had the hardest time feeding her.......
and around 13 months she actually wanted to eat my rice and chicken.........so I gave it her....and since then she's been eating REAL food.
