I need a come back becouse sometimes my bf would say are you stupid! and I would say back well if Im stupid then why am I your girlfriend.So what can I say back that will make him feel how i feel when he ask if im stupid.

Well I think your first come back was quite good. The best would be to say that and leave. If someone calls you stupid that should be it. Say Bye. It is verbal abuse. I have had friends whose boyfriends called them stupid because the guy was insecure and wanted the girl to feel worthless so she wouldn't realize she deserves better. You deserve better, just say good bye.

How about GOOD BYE! I'm sure that you would "smarten up" if you left him. Why would you want to call someone you love names. To me is is a form of psychological abuse. If he can make you feel insecure and 'stupid', then he has more control over you. Talk to him and tell him how it makes you feel. If he has to desire to stop the name calling, then you need to get out. It will just escalate until he starts calling you even worse names.

The best response to an idiot is NO response....Walk away...Your boyfriend is verbally abusive....and when the time is right you need to tell him so. He's repeating behaviour that is dished out to him at home. TRUST me on this one....the verbal abuse is learned (MOM/DAD) probably call him stupid on a daily basis and he thinks it's ok to do this to someone else.
When the time is right....You need to tell this boyfriend that his name calling in your relationship is not acceptable!....If he continues with it....Cease communications with him....don't take his phone calls, don't be accessible....and just plain cut him off .....Verbal abusers need a WAKE up HELLO call!!!!

if he is calling you names like stupid....why are you still there. he has no respect for you, so i would leave and let him know who the stupid one really is. tell him he is right you have been stupid by staying with someone like him.
