I have been with my bf for 3 months and he hasen't even put his arm around me or hold my hand do I need to wait,do it myself,or ask him.

When you are like walking with him or anything just ask for his hand, or try to grab it and see what will hapen. If it works other things will become easyer too.
Go watch a romantic movie and try to hold his hand or put a arm around him if that works for you. The rest will go by itself I hope :)

Do it yourself and see if he reciprocates. Maybe he's not the affectionate type, or is he? Maybe he's nervous but I wouldn't think so. Initiate the touching yourself and if his actions do not improve, ask him about it.
