You have a good question here, I have always said If I can help one person or encourage just one person that satan is trying to draw them back to him or to discourage them, then it would be worth it all. I have been serving God for over 36 yrs. To this day satan tries to make you think, there is no hope, But we have to take scriptures, where Jesus said he will never leave us, nor forsake us, Yes he tries to make Christains think God has forsaken them, that is his job, Many times when I go through any kind of trials, I just tell satan, I know my destination & satan I know your destination, My destination is heaven & satan destination is the lake of fire. Sometimes when we go through a trial & we look back to the beginning of that trial & we see only one set of foot prints in the sand, we seem to ask God, Why have you left me, & then we can down in our soul feel that touch & God will speak to our soul & tell us, that the set of foot prints in the sand Is that of God, That is when he carries us through that trial.

What a good point you make. Interestingly, you highlight what the apostle Paul teaches under inspiration at 2 Corinthians 2:5-11. Apparently the man mentioned in 1 Corinthians 5:1-13 had been removed from the Corinthian congregation for practicing fornication. Now, in his second letter to the Corinthian congregation, Paul is encouraging them to forgive this (repentant) man and receive him once again into the congregation confirming their love for him. Pointedly, in verses 7 and 11 of 2 Corinthians chapter 2, Paul admonishes them that the man could be swallowed up in the depression of his sin and Satan would reach him that way. So yes, you are so right in that whether we have begun serving God and commit sins or whether we have never served God but are practicing sin, we do not want to allow ourselves to be convinced we are so wicked that God will not forgive us.

Yes. So many people believe that they aren't good enough, and that they must be perfect before coming to the Lord. But scripture teaches otherwise !!!

No, we should never reach the point of despair. No matter how bad the sin was, Allah's mercy and forgiveness is above all.
May Allah forgive us all.

So many people think that way. It is sad. They say they can't come to God until they are "a better person. " God wants us to come to Him just as we are. In time He will change us into better people if we are willing.
