I'm practically head over heals for this girl and she's giving me mixed signals. A few days ago she was all over me and now she's not giving me any attention. What does this mean? Changed her mind or something? I was going to ask her out today as we walked home but she had to walk home another way as she had to pick up her brothers. Anyway, how do I know she likes me or is just toying with me? Thanks.

Thing is she's a good friend of mine and if she rejects me I'd still like to be friends - are most girls alright with that?

We're both 14. From what I can see, I didn't do anything wrong. She may of been stressed or worn out, it was Thurs + Friday she started to drift off. I'll see how things are on Monday I guess.

Act like you care less. Start talking about how you like one of her good friends. Her reaction should give you an idea of how she feels about you. Take it from there. Good luck, hope it goes your way. Keep in mind that there is more fish in the sea and plenty of time to explore the water!

Well, he sounds like he is treating his girlfriend the way he should by putting her first. If you were his girlfriend where would you want to be in line? Having doubts in his relationship with her is also normal. Everyone has doubts now and then. He spoke with a friend about it. But, he didn't speak to you about it correct? From what you have said I don't see how he has treated you as anything more than a friend. However, he pursued you to begin with. So he was obviously attracted to you at some point. If you truly have deeper feelings for this man and you aren't just feeling jealous that he is giving someone else attention instead of you and/or your just having a lonely moment. Then I would suggest that you sit down and tell him how YOU feel. Make sure you are positive that your feelings are pure first. Because he sounds like an awesome friend and i'm sure you don't want to lose that friendship. I think your over thinking this too much. Don't worry about signs that he is or is not into you. If your into him you should let him know. If your honest and true to yourself what's the worst that's going to happen?

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

No man will ever understand what the girl is thinking...
Be brave, next time you see her just ask her out. Pretend there is no tomorrow. Trust me, in the long run, you won't regret it. If it doesn't work out it doesn't matter. In a year or two you will look back on it and smile anyway.
There are lots of times I wish I'd stuck my neck out and gone for it when I was younger. Enjoy it.

well maybe she was really stressed that day and had alot on her mind and really had to sort out some problems or you did something to hurt her or she doesn't like you that way.

hmm, is it important if she likes you? isn't it more important that you like her? :) iMHO, women are generally fickle, so you have to show a certain level of consistency towards them. they'll love you back for this.
