We know that man cant possible have been wiped out at the time specified, we know a ship couldnt have been built that big at the time, we know that all the animals wouldnt have fit in, cohabitated, survived and then be returned to their respective corners of the globe. (Imagine Noahs sailing mileage!) so how do Christians interprit the story now, do they take it as the word, or with a pinch of salt? IS it possibly based on a small portion of the globe?

"Impossible" doesn't matter to Christian belief. The sense of "truth" used by Biblical literalists is not the same sense of "truth" that the rest of us have. "True", for them, means "corresponds with [what I believe that] the Bible says", and the fact that much of that conflicts with what really is true about the world is completely irrelevant (to them).

Now, if this is supported by faith, I've got no problem with it, but usually the Christian who finds his "truth" challenged by the facts falls back not on faith, but on silly arguments and dishonesty. This is why we have organized creationism: it's because Christians simply don't have enough faith to sustain their beliefs, and so instead need to shore up their lifestyles with dishonesty and outright propaganda.

I dont believe in noahs ark

If it did rain for 40 days and 40 nights wouldnt we be flooded aswell in the future.

How did noah send off the african lion and giarffe etc to there natural habitats.

Where did they get food for the animals and themselves from, wouldnt the lions eat the sheep if everything died how come insects are still alive they werent on the ark.

How could you live in a ark for 40 days and 40 nights with Pi$s and $hit flying around

If it didn't happen, then where they hay are the Unicorns? I see green alligators and long necked geese, some humpty back camels and chimpanzees, cats and rats and elephants- man, I'm so forlorn, cause I just don't see no unicorns.

Sorry, couldn't pass it up!

Actually, the flood covering the entire earth? probably not, but there have been some interesting archaeological findings that point towards it's happening- Aside from that horn they found at the bottom of Mt. Ararat. Pur wee unicorn.

There is insufficient water on the planet to have a universal flood. There are no fish fossils thousands of feet above sea level which there would have been had there been a flood. But the real killer blow? At any given time there are at least ten million species on the planet-Noah must have been some shipbuilder.

I once asked a sarcastic question about the Ark, and I got 18 responses from Christians saying it was real. No other answers. It was scary...very scary. 18 out of 18 answerers believed in the ark.

You dont give proof of any of the false claims you make, likewise, email me and i will prove to you scientifically and factually that the ark did indeed exist and geological evidence is undeniable from all over the world.

People choose not to believe in a flood since it describes Gods judgement on the world, and gives the promise of a still coming judgement as described in 2 Peter 3:3-7

I don't believe in science and common sense myself. Sense doesn't seem to be very common.

Prove to me all of those "can't" . May I propose that what if the animals were babies, and what if in the state of hibernation? If you would like a lengthy debate, e mail me.
