One night stands can be with strangers or someone you know. Are they popular? I don't know as I prefer to have a relationship with someone I know will be there the next day. Also, with all the diseases, you never know what you may be exposing yourself to by only sharing bodies. You are taking a chance with a one night stand and only feeling good for the moment but could be taking memories with you that will last a lifetime.

Yes they still happen if that is what you mean and they are preferably with strangers. Everyone needs some meaningless nookie at some point! And I disagree with the statement "Most people hate 1 night stands." Trust me, it isn't true! Most people engage in 1 night stands at one point or another in their lifetime!

one nights stands willl never go out of fashion im finding alot of single people now have shag buddies so obiviously they know the people[its safer] but one nights stands with strangers will always be around

I hate to say this, but I've had a couple with some guys from work. We're still fine in the working sense of it, and I don't know why but I feel more comfortable with them than I do with some of the other people.

they are either with srangers or some one you know though depresing depending on your exepections after wards. i dont think there are popular any more mainly because of H.I.V and other STIs, the risk becomes high even with the use of protection
