This is perfectly normal and a part of growing up. Hormones play havoc with our minds and we can sometimes confuse a deep affection and fondness for someone as something else entirely.
Do you feel any of the same feelings for any other female? Or is it just your friend?
If it's just your friend then the chances are it's just a passing phase. If you are attracted to females in general then you may be bisexual.
Give yourself some time and don't worry about it. You'll know one way or the other soon enough.

It could be that you're bisexual. Kissing her won't make you bisexual if you're not. Your actions do not make you gay, bi, or straight. Your desires do. That 40 year-old married closeted person? Still gay, even if they only have heterosexual sex with their spouse.
I don't know how old you are, but it is also perfectly natural for women, particularly younger women, to get crushes on female friends. I don't know if guys do this, too, but they have to be quieter than we do about anything that might hint at homosexuality. It doesn't mean you're gay; it might just mean that you admire and love her, and this is the only way your subconscious knows how to express that.
And if you're really young, like barely pubescent or younger? Then it could be that you're just going through that sexual exploration phase that is also common. Lots of young girls explore with their female friends, but later turn out to be 100% heterosexual.
It's not a bad thing if this isn't just a phase. If you are bi, there's nothing wrong with that, and you don't have to do anything to make others happy with your choices. Just this one girl? That's cool. A lot of girls in your future? Also fine. Sometimes girls, sometimes boys? Not a problem, or really shouldn't be. Just stay true to yourself and do whatever you think is best for you.

Nope, don't think so!!! If your best friend was a guy, you'd be soul mates. Guess you really just like her qualities and want that in a guy!

bi-curious maybe......the only way to find out is to go to a gay bar....meet a girl and if you end up with her, then yeh you could be...but if you meet a girl and back out at the last minute then it could just be a fantasy of yours....just go to a bar and see for yourself
