Exercise: Jogging is the best exercise to start with. You need to jog for at least 20 minutes before you start doing the tummy exercises. Tummy crunch or sit ups is the best exercise for your stomach. Do the tummy crunch in different variations. The more the repetitions, the more strength for your tummy muscles. Swimming is also a good exercise for the whole body. Some yoga poses also help in strengthening the upper and lower part of the tummy and also increase the flexibility of the stomach muscles. Sleep: Sleep is a necessity for rest, relaxation and recuperation. You need to get a good sleep, to recharge your muscles after a workout. On an average an adult needs around 8 hours of sleep. If you rest for fewer hours, the risk of becoming overweight increases.

sit ups. no equipment needed. just lie on the floor, bend your legs, keep feet flat on the floor, hands behind your head and raise your head up about 10 inches. repeat 200 times a day. It is easier if you break it down into sets of 50 at a time. results start to show in about 2 weeks.

Sit ups of course but there is a Yoga exercise also

Slightly leaning forward and resting you hands on your slightly bent knees draw your stomach muscles in toward you as much as you can and then throw your stomach muscles outwards as hard as you can. Do it a few times every day and work to doing more each day.

ab crunches/situps i think is the only option to really get your stomache hard,/toned, i hate them but try to do as much as poss, sorry to be bearer of bad news ;)
not sure about how yoru eating habits have changed but smaller and more frequent meal times are big factor in flat stomache, big portions twice a day will just swell/stretch your stomach..
little and often ;)

would combine sit ups with some simple pilates. Ive had two children and combining both with some cardio at least once a week worked wonders. I would do pilates three times a week and normal sit ups once or twice and see how it goes from there.
There are tons of great at home pilates kits available.

Put something heavy on your stomach while laying down and lift it up and down.
Or, lay on your back, and lift your feet rather than sitting up. Sit ups don't really do your stomach to much and only use the lower part for the bit of work you do.

If you have a back problem like I do, try using a Gym Ball, it supports the lower back as you curl up. There are many on the market sold at Boots, Argos etc. even Avon sell them!

Download your favourite tracks to sort out to. If you’ve committed to a half hour session every day then a 30-minute soundtrack of the most extremely upbeat, motivating tunes will retain you pumped up!

Lying flat on your back with you legs stretched forward slowly lift and lower one leg. keep your foot pointed when you raise then flexed when you lower. when you lower never touch the floor. Do ten of these on each side. The movement works on you lower abs.
Make sure to keep your hands straight down in the same direction as your feet.

Sit-ups and plenty of walking and swimming are supposed to be good but you can't spend 24/7 doing all that, so what else is left but to eat and sleep?
