The helmets are designed to help protect the brain, so the brain does not get rattled during explosions. I hope they help, but it is not enough. The military needs to just come home!

I wasn’t aware that Cher bought our service men helmets. If that is what she did, Kudos to her. Its sad when an entertainer sees the need to provide gear for our troops because our administration is trying to run this war the way a thrift store runs its operations. This is what happens when you get businessmen, whose sole preoccupation prior to their service in the government was to save their companies money, to run a war. They will never conduct the war to win. They see the war as they see everything else in life – as a means to increase profit margins.
