Been there, done that. It does become rather repetitive with the "I'm right, you're wrong" mentality. In the town we live in, there are a number of such and we're not about to become proselytes again. We're happy with what we have, but still maintain many Christian values and doctrines. (We're quite well-known - or should I say notorious - for standing up for civil and human rights, which others would prefer not to get involved with.) My experiences were mostly positive, but I chose a different path more compatible with my needs, which has actually become pivotal in the type of work I do too.

Baha'is are forbidden to convert or prosylitize(sp).
We are to offer the Faith, for independent investigation of the truth, as a gift to a king.
We offer information. What is done with the information is between the offeree and God.

The Bible says that God is Married to the backslider. As long as there is life, there is Hope. That was True for me, I ran as hard as I could from my relationship with God, and His Christ, but after many years I came Home ! Thank God for His Mercy that is Renewed Every Morning !

Just make sure you have your argument down before you go talking to those Christians. Personally, its fun to show them the flaws in the bible that they've never seen before, but most Christians don't read the bible, they just digest what they have been spoon fed from the pulpit.

Well, the bible says raise a child as you should, and they will not depart. So, obviously your parents did their job. It is not my place to judge and does not bother me if you are or not a practicing christian. God bless you

They also talk to "soon-to-be-ex-Christians". They are the best recruiters for Atheism.

Lots of people rebel before they realize the wisdom of what they were raised with. I pray that you will come back to the Lord with new understanding and zeal.
