I live in Stanmore, London. I would like to look for a university student to teach my 14 year-old son English and Science GCSE courses. What is the best way to find it? And what is the regular rate for tutoring?

I'm a qualified teacher and I do some tutoring on the side, for which I charge £25 per hour.

I wouldn't pay an unqualified person more than £15.

It may be difficult to find a student that can specialise in both English and Science - they're completely different, especially at Uni as you's specialise in either one or the other. One's Arts, the other a Science. You would probably need two students

why go for the oily rag when your child deserves the engineer, contact the local college they will help you find a tutor that normally charges the same rate as a car mechanic. LF
