which is better pentium or celeron

Pentium , Celeron mimics Pentium but by far has many glitches, Microsoft invented it (the real deal)and the rest are just copy's and will not perform anywhere near a true Pentium , the celeron & amd are spin offs they work but you need the best now a days use real intell and real pentium, had both and three celeron's and two AMD's 6 and now I have the pentium 4 with XP-Profesional, 2 gig's 2,000 Mega hz with a CD & DVD burner and wow what a differince

The Pentium line is "better", as the Celeron line is a budget line. Both are somewhat outdated now as the Core Duo and Core 2 Duo's are a much more advanced architecture than either of them.

Pentium is much better and powerfull than Celeron ~ 2.4 GHz Celeron = 2.0 Pentium processor

They are both the same processor. The only difference is that the Celeron was made to better fit someone that prefers using the Pentium class chip, but is working with a budget. They are still both made by Intel. I prefer the AMD chips myself.

Core duo
AMD
Pentium
Celeron

i had a Celeron and now I won't settle for less than AMD processors
