I reckon so, I once walked into a room (very cheesy I know) when I started a new job, my eyes met with this girl and instantly fell in love, we both had partners at the time and it took a year an a half before anything happened but sure enough we were destined for each other, unfortunately I ballsed the relationship up after a year and a half by being young and immature but it was so intense and strong if I'd been more emotionally devloped I like to think we would still be together now.

Yeah, but you must not tell her. And you must not judge her personality by one date. You must stay cool and calm try to continue to really get to know her, her likes, dislikes, habits, interests, and desires in life. You may be compatible and a good couple, but make sure.
I've had two relationships like that where I met the girl for only a few minutes and somehow those minutes turned into years. I've also seen people meet in nightclubs on the dancefloor and who are now married. As long as you know what you want and you're sure that you've found it - ride it out and see what happens. Just keep your eyes open and also listen. Make sure you are what SHE WANTS too.

Most of the time, when such illusions hit the hard ground of time , you find your these moments as the most foolish act of your life. Lucky are those you experienced it otherwsie..
I guess, better approach is to know a person for long enough to understand them better. know each others positives and negatives and then develop the love if you can.. but this approach is very time consuming and if you don't like the person in end .. you need to start again with someone else !!

I never thought that it was possible but than......
I met my ex boyfriend on a Internet dating agency and after two weeks of swapping emails and texts and talking to one another on the phone we met.
We go on so well and we clicked there and then.
I have always heard the sayings. love at first sight, and you know when you have met the one!, and to be honest i thought that it was just a load of rubbish. But than it happened to me.
As soon as i saw him and by the end of the night i was in love and to be honest i still am.

I think its very possible. but you have your own definition of love. To me, loving a person is someone ive gooten to know. What if you say youve experienced love at first sight, but when you went to his/her apartment, the toilete wasnt flushed, had used condoms on the floor, or didnt pay bills. those things would just a quickly turn you around. I belive in ignorance is bliss. Hell Im just angry ecause I havent experienced love at first sight. Ive met a very beautiful guy in my opinion, and wow I wish I would have the honor of getting to know him more, but Im leaveing this hell hole in 6 weeks! good luck. be wise.

Yes, I believe in love at first sight - It happened to me! Our eyes met in a crowded pub and that was it. Its still early days for us (3 months) but we are still happy and our relationship keeps growing ( we're not kids either - I'm in my 30's, he's in his 40's!).
