Does anyone know which countries in the EU have a tax on electronic gadgets?

I know this tax was introduced in some European countries in the 1960s.

The idea is to compensate artists for illegal copying etc. Any ideas?

All of EU charge VAT but I don't know of any that have an additional tax for payment of royalties.

I think its AUSTRIA.
