Besides maybe hurting someone else in the process, you will have a felony, you will have to go to jail. There is also the very likely possibility that you will get Tazed, Maced, attacked by a K-9 or injured if you decide you want to fight when the they catch you and they will catch you so its just a bad idea all around

i tried this once when i was younger . real stupid move ! was not a felony but i think it could be now . did you run from an officer ? it will depend on why you where running .did you have drugs with you ? was there a warrant for your arrest before you ran ? at any rate it will be on your record from here on out . now i have to explain this any time i am interviewed for a new job. like i said really dumb move . all you can do now is get a GOOD lawyer . good luck and be smarter next time . this was in texas

That depends on the police and why you were running. If you do get convicted the penalties are at the discretion of the judge presiding over the case.

That depends on your local / state laws....but you can just about count on getting your a ss kicked when they catch up with you!

Well, let's see...

By the time they catch up with you, the pigs are bags of adrenalin. So, even if you are already down on teh floor and restrained, you'll take in a few punches and kicks so they can get their fix.
