I believe the majority of Muslims are integrated into our society, there is just a very vocal minority who aren't and refuse to be! I hope the majority of Muslims can overcome this as all the Muslime I now are nice sensible hardworking people!

misjal3bis a few quotes above me seems to be on her own. Shes one of these people that love to assume anyone with any greviances about the current situation is an ignorant racist. Its much easier for them to deal with people that way!

I myself have travelled extensively and like nearly all people on this page i agree with the intergration. I find its usually people in their early to mid twenties, middle class and have had one to many disco biscuits who seem to think a multi-cultural society will be a utopia. It has and always will throughout histroy caused trouble. Palestine for one example. 7/7 could just be the tip of the iceberg. I love experiencing other cultures and places and seeing how people live, just not here. Why spend £500 on a flight to india when you could spend a few quid on a train ride to Leicester.

Not only the Muslims, but anyone else from anywhere else that doesn't like the ENGLISH way of life..(if anyone can remember wot that is) We have tolerated so much for so long.. If it wasn't one set of people it was another.. We really should tattoo "doormat" on our foreheads if we change our country anymore..
It's not suprising we have so many foreigners living in this country. it's a free easy ride.. We are known the world over for being a walk over and being over tolerant.. is it a case of "lets go there and change it our homeland but get freebie's at their expense..."
Atleast have the descency to learn our language.

If you don't like it.. GO BACK TO YOUR HOMELAND.

Sorry but it really annoys me. My family are English thru and thru.. and my sister and her 2 kids were on the housing list for 7 years waiting for her house, but they come in and are strait into one. My husband and I and our three kids were living in a 3 bedroomed house with my grandad, the council refused to help us. but they knocked TWO houses into one in the area we lived for an indian family with 5 kids... Go figure.. Don't blame the foreigners.. Blame the Cr@ppy Government

They already are integrated mate - just carrying on a proud tradition of violence going back hundreds of years. This is not just the UK's tradition of course. If you look at the children of the God of Abraham (Christians, Muslims and Jews) they are THE killing machine of all times. No other organization, political or otherwise comes close. What goes around comes around I guess.

You "hear people say"???? People like German Chancellor Angela Merkel? No "small potatoes" SHE! And she has a point, too. But the people YOU refer to as "fundie Christians" (which you are clearly using in a derogatory manner) ARE Americans! Their values ARE American values! And I would rather have a DUGGAR-full of Duggar families surrounding me than ONE like yourself... so intolerant and bigoted. HOW can you call the Duggar's home a BUNKER? They travel a LOT, they visit and socialize a LOT. Their older children have even gone overseas to VOLUNTEER themselves to help the less fortunate in other countries. They've traveled to New York, Chicago, and other places. As for "marriage rights," ummm... guess what? MARRIAGE IS NOT A RIGHT, but a PRIVILEGE, and as such, the SOCIETY can bar ANYONE they choose (by law) to bar. It is a PRIVILEGE, just like a driver's license. WHY do you think we issue a marriage LICENSE? We don't issue licenses to "exercise" our RIGHTS, DO WE? The right to LIFE... do we issue a birth LICENSE to give PERMISSION to have a baby? The right to LIBERTY... the right to the PURSUIT of happiness. Do we issue LICENSES for THESE things? NO... why? Because they are RIGHTS. But marriage simply is NOT a RIGHT... Right: the power or privilege to which one is justly entitled Privilege: A peculiar benefit, advantage, or favor; a right or immunity not enjoyed by others or by all; special enjoyment of a good, or exemption from an evil or burden; a prerogative; advantage; franchise. [NOTE: a "right" that is NOT enjoyed by others or by ALL.] WHAT is so DIFFICULT about understanding the DIFFERENCE? WHY are you people so BLIND to this CRITICAL difference? As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. MARANATHA! Come, Lord Jesus, COME!

They been shot right up the kyber with yesterdays court result haven't they - and on TV this morning, the town in Belgium where they've BANNED the veil in public, and when one of them who said she was born and bred there and complained about it with all the usual venom, they STILL told her "If you don't like it, then go to the country where your family came from - you can't stay here!"
Someone with a bit of guts at last!!!!!!!
