Romanians are people who live in Romania, a country in Southeastern Europe. Romania borders Hungary and Serbia to the west, Ukraine and Moldova to the northeast, and Bulgaria to the south.

why do you ask this is my question? i am Romanian and I can tell you what kind of people we are both here in the US and back home where I was born. we are people who are hard working-both my parents, their friends and so forth. school is a huge part of our life and when you study you focus on school only and what you need to get done. the Romanian people are really smart, driven and when they have fun they have fun. they do not combine school and fun! next, yes we like to party but the big parties are the ones thrown for birthdays ...we go to the beach in Romania during the summer, in the delta as well as well as skiiing and in the winter you go in the mountains and snow board or skii or just have fun! most Romanian friends are going into the medicine field since it is paid pretty good. the Romanian people have the fast food chains that they have here or some of them, but they walk a lot, eat tons of desserts for which they are known-the delicious desserts. the Romanian people all want to be the boss, none to work under someone else, work hard, have luxuries, know how to save and invest and love to travel. they are like the people from the movie "MyBig Fat Greek Wedding"-talktative, in each other's business all the time, with parents which sometimes seem overprotective, love to eat together meals and celebrate good news since word travels fast. we are known for Dracula and the myth of Dracula being a vampire, have a lot of museums and places to go and see and love to travel with the train. we live in 4 or more story buildings and the rooms are smaller compared to here, go to market to do our own groceries, cook our own meals and pass the recepies on from mother to daughter, love to read and are really inetellectual in many aspects surrounding us, enjoy life and like to go clubbing! we eat a diversity of foods:Arabic inspired and so forth, as well as Romanian foods. we love to get together with friends and catch up, buy a beer or two or more and talk the night away. we love to succeed in whatever area we put our mind to and foods play a big part. we are very close knighted, each other's best friend and supporter and critic at the same time.we celebrate Easter on a different day than the Catholic Easter, and unlike the Catholic Easter in which you give up one thing ours deals with giving up meat, eggs, cheese or animal products for 40 days. we have our Easter ceremony at midnight and we do everything in 3's: walk around the church 3 times for the Easter Ceremony, make a cross 3 times after saying a prayer and using 3 fingers vs. the usual 2. when we make a cross after we pray we do it: up, down, right and then left 3 times. be believe in hard work as well as havin fun and doing everything at its time. we live in a country where it snows during the winter, and it is scorching during the summer, and all of Romania does not have the same dialects by the way!
