Use paper towels and a glass plate. Put a couple of sheets of paper towels on a glass plate. Lay out the stips of bacon, they will probably lay over the edge of the plate. Next, cover the bacon with a few more sheets of paper towels. Nuke for about 2-3 minutes then take out and make sure they aren't sticking to the bottom towels. Return to the microwave and nuke for another 3-4 minutes until it reaches the desired amount of crisp that you like.

You can also layer the bacon on a cookie sheet and bake in an oven for about 20-30 minutes at 325 degrees. Check about half way through and make sure the bacon is not sticking to the pan.

The secret is to lay the bacon on the paper towel sort of twisted so it has little contact with the paper & cover with paper towel very lightly - do not press the paper onto the bacon as it will be stuck like glue after a couple of mins. in the microwave. By the time you've picked the paper off, it's gone cold!

!) Definately Dont Use Tin Foil it'll Damage your Microwave
2) You dont have to use Paper inside the microwave at all it just sticks to the bacon
3) Place bacon say 2 slices on a flat plate
Microwave for 1 minute
Check turn if you like
Microwave for 1 more minute
Check to see if it's how you like it say crispy or soft
If its crispy you want do a further 50 seconds and then when its out of the microwave dab it with paper towel to mop up fat. Enjoy!

Stupid idiots and the tin foil suggestions...I bet theyve put their brains in the microwave at some point in time...And that one guy with the butter....Stupid asses be funny somewhere else...
The best way is to put it on a plate with paper towels under it to soak up the fat...or you can just put it directly on the plate if you dont want it to be too crispy..I do it all the time and actually like it...Its convenient and seems to cut out alot more fat when I use the paper towels...
Oh yeah cook it for 2-3 min on one side then turn it over and cook it for another 1-3 min depending on how cooked you want it to be....but remember to keep an eye on it so it doesnt burn just like you would if you cooked it on the stove..

If you plan to eat nuked bacon quite often then your best bet would be to BAKE it in the oven on a cookie sheet. Cook the whole pound, or several packages, at a time. Cool and place in baggies for the freezer. Then all you have to do is warm it in the mwave or in a frying pan! They want boo coo bucks for the pre-cooked bacon in the grocery stores. It will start tasting like your freezer if left too long, so if you have a foodsaver that would be the best way to freeze.

There are packs of bacon designed to be cooked in the microwave. You can also use a browning plate.

ugh... don't. microwave times will vary anyway. Okay so it's best to use a special plate for cooking bacon - it has groves so the fat will drip into the valley's of the plate. Or u can use a standard plate and put paper towel down to absorb the fat

but bacon tastes ahelluva lot better fried in a pan - and then put on paper towel to absorb the excess fat. i tried Turkey Bacon the other day, it's 79% less fat and is tasty

Put some kitchen paper on a plate, then the bacon then cover with more paper, halfway thro' cooking time, you need to replace the paper. Cooks really well that way!
