Summing up any religion is a tough order but the Baha'i Faith believes that there is one God and He created humanity to know and love Him. The way that He has informed us of His existence is through a series of Messengers (Abraham, Moses, Jesus, etc.) These Messengers deliver God's teachings so that we can have an "ever advancing civilization". We are told that the next step is the unification of the entire planet and that this will require the establishment of God Kingdom on earth. There is much more and the website below has those answers.
Just one more comment - some of the people before imply that the Baha'i Faith is just a rehash of previous religions. Refuting that in full would take time but just a few examples should suffice:
What previous religion has no clergy, only elected leaders?
What previous religion talked about the need for a universal language?
What previous religion has institutions that were established by the founder of that religion?
What previous religion holds the station of motherhood in such high regard that if you have a son and daughter and can only educate one, that you should educate the daughter since her role as a mother and primary (not only) educator of the children takes precedent over other considerations?
The list could go on and, as said before, the website has that information.
Take care and good luck....

The baha'i faith was developed in 19th century Persia (aka, Iran). It is estimated that there are about 6 million followers spread over 200 countries.
The fundamental idea of the religion is unity - that every religion is merely a culture-oriented story leading its people gradually towards a common goal. Each 'god' believed in by each culture is merely a 'messenger' of the true creator. Bahá'u'lláh, the most recent (and therefore most relevant) of these gods is the main diety of the baha'i faith, and the followers believe that his purpose is to 'establish a firm basis for unity throughout the world, and inaugurate an age of peace and justice'
Baha'i still, unfortunately, falls prey to those pesky logical paradox issues of a monotheistic universe.

A mixture of virtually every popular religion. If you were to take all the world's religions, and roll them up into a burrito, then you'd get the Baha'I faith..... or real bad spiritual indigestion.
