I had a friend who would rather kill a snake than a cockroach. She got an intense phobia over a cockroach that once she ruined the solemnity of a prayer session when she saw a cockroach near to where she was sitting.
I had a neighbor once who had a phobia in any sort of transportation so he would rather walk all of the time to go to any place. Very strange, but he claimed that he got such kind of phobia after subsequent dreams that he will die from transportation accident. Later, he died not from transportation accident but from tetanus infection of foot wound he sustained while walking on an underdeveloped sidewalk street. Poor man.♥
Anyway, check out this lists of different phobias: http://phobialist.com/#A-

I have a fear of objects near water like bridges under construction near beaches or poles sticking out of water. I have no idea what this is from. Very strange. I LOVE going in the water and swimming though. Anyhow, Not that crazy but worth mentioning. A good friend of mine is terrified by Frogs!

I do not have any phobias as such... The only thing I dislike are heights, so you will never see me on any theme park rides!!!.
My 12 year old daughter however has a bad phobia of buttons... She has to wear clothes that only have zips etc...She will not even touch or look at them. They could be any size, shape & colour, she just hates them!!!

A phobia ia an irrational, neurotic fear. I have none.
I have heard of an extreme fear of being around, looking at, and thinking about, children. Kinderphobia.

I've seen on Tyra people who were afraid of pennies, garden gnomes, stoves/ovens, and styrofoam peanuts. Personally I'm terrified by needles, anything to do with teeth or mouths (I had a traumatic dentist experience as a child), bugs/spiders, and big crowds. Some people are just antsy. : )

I'm petrified of clowns (although I think that is a fairly reasonable fear) and I have a bit of a thing about buttons too.
But a friend of mine is absolutely terrified by submarines - we're convinced she died on one in a previous life!

Im scared of the usual; spiders. My mate is scared of Balloons too- she freaks out around them! I can understand this really, though - they are unpredictable things that may pop at any moment!
