Jesus, there's some poor advice here. Flowers? Buying presents? Forget it. Forget also any massive declarations of liking her. Why? Because you hardly even know her, so any of the above will give away your real motive which is not to tell her you like her, but to find out if she likes you. The hair comment is nice, but if you ask me you need to get to know if she is really worth your time first. You'd like your girlfriend to be fun, trustworthy, etc etc, yet I bet you don't have the first idea if she is any of these things. So, talk to her with the clear idea that you want to find out if she's good enough for you, not to find out if she likes you. Make yourself a little more unavailable. Don't play hard-to-get, just make sure you don't waste time on someone that's not up to the mark by giving her feedback she deserves, not feedback designed to score points.
Hint: NEVER buy flowers as a way to get a girl to like you. It's absolutely transparent and says "I don't have much to offer so was hoping this cliche would fool you into believing you like me". The girl who gave you that piece of advice isn't lieing, she's just imagining the guy she ALREADY fancies doing so as she typed the advice...

ok i'm a girl so trust me.Look at her alot in class or go up to her and say "you look nice today and your hair is done nice" and say it only when her hair is not a pony tail or a easy style and for clothes something other than jeans and a shirt.

don be too straight forwrd she might reject u... help yourself score some points first by buying her something onm special occasion... talk to her more frequent but don be busybody of her... praise her and show respect to her... she will get to know it soon
