Uh...look. Doing something in your past can be forgiven and people can look past these things--but a first date is really for getting to know who the other person IS not what they've done. If someone told me on our first date that he had robbed and assaulted someone, it would be hard to look past because i don't know about any of their redeeming qualities. It would also be the only thing I could think about. I'd be scared. But that doesn't mean you should hide it forever--just wait a little--a week or two. dont wait too long, or it'll feel like you've been hiding something from her.

Did you go to prison or do something to make up for it? If you are sure you are never going to do it again and you served your time don't bring it up. Until you are friends and you can talk about it. Don't sleep with her until she knows - that's worse. If you are currently acting that way and she knows it and wants to work it out don't go out with her. She doesn't care about herself or the victim or you! Appropriate behavior would be for the date to end early, and politely. First dates should not cover such deep subjects. Conversation should be casual until you know you even want to see her again. Its not something you should keep secret. If you need help you can get it, resolve the problem and then go on dates.

You meant the possibility of the first date itself or the prospective relationship to work out ??
If its the first one - thank God,means that I dun have to find some stupid topics to talk about.
If its the latter one - that would have to depend on you,big boy.
Btw,good Lord,you didnt,did you?
