Darling first of all there is no such thing as a teen romance that last a life time. Heck there are even fewer adult romances that even come close to a partial lifetime. On that note I say your young and obviously inexperience, so if you ask who should you go for, I would leave my options open to dating both. So long as you are not being promiscuous an abstaining from sex. The world is difficult enough for teens with out having to worry about commitment. Commit to finishing school, getting a degree and a decent job. You will meet many more boys and men in your life so don't go rushing this sort of thing. Young men and women, teens, adolescents these days are clueless to the art of the dating scene. The challenge is having the patience and focus to balance what is absolutely essential in your young lives and having to chose between the two is as good as place as any to begin reviving the art.

I'd go with the first boy. You don't want to jeopardise your friendship with the second boy. You say you're close mates and that he has fallen for you, maybe he'll wait for you.
If you go out with the first lad and it doesn't work out, you still have the second for support as a friend, as well as the possibility of a future boyfriend (Don't use him as a rebound though).

You're a teenager and are pretty unlikely to marry either - get out your plastic spoon and give em both a try. It'll give you experience for the type to look for in the future...
