maybe they are not brothers and sisters under Islam but they are fellow people of the book and i see no problem with referring to them as such to help our sense of community between each other.. we all believe in One God and the Day of Judgment

Tanakh is an acronym - TaNaKh - for the three sections of the hebrew scriptures - torah (5 books of moses), nevi'im (prophets), and kethuvim (writings)

the talmud (which has two forms, babylonian and palestinian) is written down Oral Torah, which comes from mt sinai when G-d explained the meaning of the bible, its laws, etc to moses and it was passed down orally for centuries, and was written down mostly between the second and fourth centuries c.e. to prevent the knowledge from being lost. talmud is not the whole of oral torah, there is also stuff like the mishnah, the midrash, and kabbalah.

The 3 parts of Tanach are Torah, Neviim, and K'suvim. The Talmud is a later, (5th centure CE) Aramaic book discussing Jewish Law, and is the primary basis for Jewish Law.

Allah knows best.
