Where can I find mountings for mother's rings?

I want to make a mother's ring for my daughter but I can't find the mountings that don't already have stones in them. I think it would mean more if I made it myself.

You can by empty mountings from almost any jewelery store, BUT,
If you do not have experience in mounting stones, you may fing your workmanship less than adequate!
