I know that one egg a day is healthy but if you ate just the egg whites - which is the healthiest part of the egg and contains all of the protein, then you could eat the three eggs per day.. They sell Egg Beaters which are egg whites colored to look like real eggs or just plain egg whites which are white - you can also just take the yoke out of the egg when you use them.

Maybe you can use one whole egg and use the other 2 eggs as only egg whites - this way you can eat the amount you like to eat but it would be totally healthy at the same time. Three whole eggs a day contains too much cholesterol and fat and is not good for you.

Even though the rest of your diet is healthy, check the serving size on the carton - it is probably only one. I would mix one egg with some Egg Beaters or take the yokes out of the other two.

While the egg reigns the cheapest, tastiest, and most nutritious food item on the market today, we shouldn't indulge in it on a daily basis. Eggs provide us enough protein and energy for the day, but they also contain very high cholesterol content which can be fatal if taken in large amounts.

I see you are a 27-year-old healthy male so you might not have any problems with your food intake. Eating 3 eggs a day may not pose immediate dangers to your health. However, in the long run, this habit carries serious health risks, e.g., rheumatism, heart ailment, hypertension, and other illnesses associated with high cholesterol and old age.

I suggest limiting your egg intake to just 1-3 in a week. A healthier option would be a diverse diet consisting of different food groups dominated by fruits and vegetables, lean meats of fish, pork, beef, and poultry, and moderate amounts of carbohydrates.

Healthy eating requires discipline and behavior modification. No pain, no gain. Better safe than sorry!

The protein from eggs is the standard by which other proteins are measured. If you're weight is stable and you're active, it should be really healthy to eat eggs, especially if the chickens have a good diet which includes Omega 3 fatty acids. Then you will have the benefit of that healthy fat in your diet.

Also by eating oatmeal you get the benefit of the oat bran which is known to bind to cholesterol in the body and carry it out.

Bon Appetite

Considering what you posted about the rest of your diet, 3 eggs a day won't hurt you at all.
3 eggs, bacon, sausage for breakfast followed by hamburger and fries for lunch every day would be cause for concern.

No, you're fine. There's always hype about what's good for you and what's not, and it's always shifting, it's all rubbish.
