commitment issues? I don't mean it disparigingly at all. Factual question: do all women have to overcome uncertainty when getting into a deeper relationship? I know some guys certainly do. Maybe true for everyone, then? What do you think?

One only commits when serious in a relationship. There are options to consider when getting involved deeper than one expects. This happens to us all.

I think if, regardless of gender you've been hurt in the past you will be extra cautious when you get into a new relationship because you don't want to repeat the mistakes. Commitment issues?? I don't think so.... unless you have trust or commitment issues then getting into a deeper relationship will be a problematic thing. Sometimes even if you haven't been hurt you'll try to protect your heart, it's probably just human nature to avoid being hurt or broken hearted.

Depends on the person and how long you know each other. A week is not a long enough time for someone to commit to a relationship.

I think everyone is different with different experiences. The way we grew up and the influences that stick with us, and of course our personalities. She may just not want to commit, who knows?.....

I know I don't have any commitment issues...I love commitment...and it drives me nuts sometimes...maybe I should be committed.

Not all.. but women whom have been hurt before.. they tend to be more sensitive to many things. its the same with men. unless of course, its all for the fun of it and who cares afterwards...
