Oh! Sorry left my keybord by it's self agian, damn spirits...
Anywho, I will be holding a ritual in my backyard with a few of my friends, honoring the dead, then go inside..hand out cady to the trick or treaters and then after all the good little kiddies are in bed at my friend's house we go back to my place and get silly drunk then dance untill the sun comes up.

although I'm a practicing Hindu, I enjoy joining my friends of other religions for their celebrations and practices, too. I have considered going with Pagan friends to their ritual/celebration/etc for Samhain.
On Halloween, however, I will be taking my neice (she's 2 1/2 years old) around trick-or-treating (at our local mall and downtown for the town's local Halloween gathering called Scare on the Square...it's always a lot of fun...there's even a costume parade where everyone that wants to can participate).
It works out well since Diwali in Oct 21, many of my Pagan friends are celebrating Samhain according to the exact lunar transition (which isn't on Oct 31) so then for the first time I actually get to go to everything (what a great year!!!)
Blessed Samhain!

Provided I'm not working, I'll be going trick or treating with the nephew. He's a dinosaur this year and is so cute (he's three) that he has auntie wrapped around his little finger. It'll be alot of fun. Wish I could have dressed up this year but no money.
As for ritual, it's very hard to have a proper ritual since I live with my Christian 84 year old grandmother and I don't want to make her panic. I've learned to make do with remembering those I loved and the gods. It'll have to do. The gods will understand.

Holding solitary ritual and then going to listen to some live instrumental music with my boyfriend and hopefully performing the Great Rite later on. What are you doing for Samhain?

Putting together my own little ritual for after the kiddies are asleep. Just some candles and incense, nothing fancy.
