No - that's baloney - it may appear a little bit thicker but it does not grow faster. If you get the split ends cut off it won't do you any good unless your hair grows much faster than you can trim off the split ends!

If you want stronger, longer hair, it will take time. You have to avoid perms, haircolor and treatments other than of course shampoo conditioner - use a good salon quality brand. Brush 3 times per day with a good brush take good vitamins and drink lots of water get that vitamin A.

That's what will make it grow better and even a bit faster.

Not at all. It just feels like that it is growing faster since the tip of the hair has been cut, and mostly so in an angle. To the touch it makes it feel like it is growing faster since it is a bit "harder" now. Especially when shaving a face or body hair.

Btw ... there are no dead ends. A hair is "alive" as it is. There are no parts of the hair that are dead. Either the entire hair is dead from the follicle on, or it is alive. Ends may split, but they do not die.

No. It grows an inch or two per month whether it's cut or not. And, as I'm sure you know, it gets shorter when you trim it. And by shorter, I mean shorter by the length that you trim off.

But trimming is great for geting rid of split ends. If your hair is long enough, you can do it yourself. No need to pay someone, unless you want to. Cut the ends with scissors, not a razor. You want the ends to be cut straight across, not at a angle. Hair cut at an angle splits easily.

A thorough massage is necessary to improve the blood circulation of the scalp. By massaging the scalp the hair follicles are stimulated and the texture of the hair is also enhanced. Massaging activates the nerves and a sense of calmness in the mind ensues. This therapy is useful for people who have routine stress.

Everyday spend about 5-10 minutes massaging your hair with your fingers. Move your fingers circularly all over the head starting from the temporal parts to the occipital area. Apply the necessary pressure to the areas. Even Yoga exercises such as the headstand are recommended for proper circulation to all the parts, especially the hair follicles to stimulate growth.

Well....
I've read that the hair MUST be trimmed ONLY when there are split ends.
If you do NOT trim the split ends...the "split" will continue to ride it's way up the strand of hair until the whole head is "damaged"---all except for the root, where the new growth resides.

I wouldn't say the hair grows FASTER...but it does allow for a HEALTHIER more "alive" head of hair.
- I think "fast growth" is determined by climate, diet, and genetics.
- But "healthy growth" can be determined by how well you care for your hair---your daily regimen (as well as diet/exercise too!!)

It was feeling of old days which the modern science by virtue of many studies has pr oven. The statistic data collected has shown that the hairs after cutting grows faster than UN cut ted hairs. The example of trees can be given that after trimming they grow better.

No it doesn't.
Hair grows from the scalp the way finger nails grow from the cuticle pad not the tip. That's why it hurts to pull a hair out, at the scalp it is alive, but not to cut it as the strand is dead.
The same way you can trim and file your nails without pain but try tearing a nail down to the quick, ouch!

Trimming will not increase the rate of hair growth, but nutrition will.
There is a shampoo, conditioner and supplement hair growth system available called FAST (Fortified Amino Scalp Therapy).

FAST definitely increase hair growth, by up to 45%, and the pages below contain testimonials from real users and beauty editors alike.
