Faith is a set of beliefs but not a place to land on. If you jump out of an airplane and believe you will survive when you land, your faithw ill not stop you from dying when you land. That is plain stupidity. God expects you to use some reason when you do stuff like that. That is plain idiotic. You can believe until you are blue in the face that you will survive or pass a test and not get teh results you desire. It is when you do all you can in the natural like having a parachute or studying for a test and then when you do that, then God does His part. Together, it is like a formula. You do your part and God does His part. Together, you got a one two combo taht cannot be denied. Faith is the evidence of things hoped for and also not seen. Just read Hebrews chapter 11 in the BIble. It talks about what faith is and gives examples. Thanks...Great question...

If you are less than 10 feet from the ground, you have a fair chance of not dying...
You might pass the test if you don't study, provided you are either a great guesser or you have picked up the knowledge elsewhere whether you were aware of it or not...
Faith is not being stupid and doing things that FOR SURE are going to end up badly regardless of your thoughts.
Faith is putting trust into something that you can not prove is or isn't, but that you have an instinctive feeling that it is true or there. It is not always about religion either, it can be about relationships, situations, whatever.

There are people who have jumped out of planes and their parashoots did not open, said they prayed and survived. it sounds like you shouldn't jump out of a plane and expect to survive sense you have no faith you might just live. Faith is believing that the immpossible can happen. Science states that power of confidence, or will power, do exist and can affect situations that by all means be impossible. Take martial arts for example, braking bricks, and wood. To someone who BELIEVES that they can't do these thing will be injured, while people who believe they can do these things are not ijured. Take Bruce Lee's "one inch, and three inch punch." Science states that a man can not generate the force needed to force an nother person off their feet and sail five feet away, espeically when that person is expecting the blow. But Bruce Lee could do this, he did it to a 200 pound man, while Lee was only 130 pounds. Never under estimate the power of concertration.

h20_theghost,
Faith is what connects us to God. It could mean that you can pass the test, or live through a terrible fall, but the promises of God are very thick in the Bible. You would do good to find where in scripture those promises are. And there are, they just need to be understood as to what they are saying. They don't specifically state those events, but I am telling you, there are promises that you could have faith in to prove God and His word.
BUT!!! Try not to tempt Him. He's not okay with that.

faith is not a parachute, no matter what anyone says to the contrary. you jump out of a plane thousands of feet above the ground, you die. As for the test, most are full of things you should have learned anyways, and you shouldn't need to study if you listened in class.

faith is the assured expectation of things to come yet unseen.it is about god or things you percieve as steady. such as a friend who is solid you can have faith in such that his words are true if you believe in god hopefully your godly wisdom would not allow you to believe you would survive such an idiotic attempt at testing your faith unless you had a parachute then your faith is strong as for the test you will need cheat notes or be a really good listener faith is not tested on such mundane things

Faith in surviving a fall with no parachute is tempting God--something we shouldn't do. Natural laws are in force unless God deems it otherwise.
I had faith in all my military static-line jumps, but I made sure the hook was secured with the cotter pin and my chute package was snug tight to my body. I was in no position to, or wanted to tempt God. That would have meant having no common sense.

Faith is the belief that God will do what he said he will do. There are laws of physics just like there are laws of the Bible. I don't know if the reason you jump out of a plane would be the same reason Jesus walked on water, but when what we want lines up with what God said we should want. If we believe, it will happen.

Faith does not mean anything if it is not professed by actions and also rituals. However, for each actian you ust have intentions. Each intentions should be guided by your "Prurpose of Life". So what is your purpose of life on this earth?
If you jump out of plane it isconsidered as committing suicide in most religion. Therefore, chances are.... you'll be damn and go to hell for the rest of your life in the hereafter.

At first try your faith. When you are feeling very thirsty, Keep a glass of water on the table ans sit in front of it. Ff that water comes to your mouth when you desire to drink, you have the faith.
So Jump down.
