I've never known anyone who's had it done, but I'm not a fan of the 'extra' hair and have been 'maintaining' it for almost 3 years now, I'm considering trying out one of those places that provides the wax service for men... Any advice? Experiences?

Yes- Talk to the technician, not the front desk.
This is not a joke- its very personal and not sexual.
Just tell the desk you have a technical question and have them call you on the cell phone or call back.
Tell them you need a MAN complete hair removal and specialized wax, a full wax of your privates and including your butt and anus. Does she do that? IF not whom in this field does?
Be please polite and most will know your serious.
List everything top to bottom from chest to toes and get a set price. Since that is a very specialized treatment, be very discreet and give her a huge tip. That will insure a good job and a quiet therapist. I have found- that most gay salons offer this service and the "TIP" was actually as much as the service. Sorry, it was just waxing ..... for real.

I can't STAND shaving. My hair is very thick and grows back so sharp. It hurts and itches! So I only wax. It lasts much longer, and hair grows back gradually and not as itchy.
I started going and having it done, but find I can do it better myself. Don't go to an asian nail place! I've had them bruise me and make me bleed from inexperience! Go to someone who specializes in waxing or buy a warmer and some brazilian wax and try it yourself.
It hurts, but is worth it!

usually when being waxed the first pull hurts the most but the pain dies down after that. It also does not hurt nearly as much as tv shows and movies say it does. But if you can afford it just getting your hair laser removed would be much better in the long run.

I have been doing it for three years, and I love it. You feel so clean and sexy. there is some pain but you get used to it and trust me it hurts less then razor burn(bumps) and looks a lot better too. you can get a design if you choose. Have fun with it, plus it does grow back if you hate it or if your partner wants something new. ( I wouldnt do it yourself. your to scared of it hurting, so you dont end up pulling it hard enough or fast enough) GO to a nice spa or a well known salon

you are looking for a back, sack and crack wax. Dont try this at home, go to a professional who will do it quickly with the least amount of pain.

When I 1st waxed it hurt, now it does not :)) I think you just got to get use to the feeling.
If your going to wax an area like your pubs! uh yeah its gonna hurt!!!!

he he...you must use Veet cream. It is the best. You don't feel the pain! I tried it :D
