So I'm dating this hot restaurant manager, he came up to me when I was the 3rd wheel with my girlfriend and her date. I am not a bad looking girl, in fact, not conceited at all, guys come up to me daily. So when the manager came up to me, I was quite skeptical. Nonetheless, I was intrigued. We started seeing each other, and it's been around 12 days. We are already arguing! Anyways, I went thru his texts one night and before he met me, he was texting with a girl. "Jane" texts him: "Not like we will be sleeping much anyways..." And he replies "That's true" But most of you now came to the conclusion, "HELLO HOW STUPID ARE YOU?" But seriously, my gut's feeling is telling me this guy really does like me and the girl was before he met me. I already met his best buddies and his dad! But I just can't over come that..What should I do? I really do like him, but because of my past, I can't trust men. I mentioned this before and he said he really does like me and he wants me to have faith..help..

Well since the text message was before you two got together ..I wouldn't worry about it, unless he's really given you a reason to be suspicious.
And besides.. life's too short to worry about things we have absolutely no control over.
No matter how much you worry.. if he's going to cheat you can't stop it..
So just do yourself a favor and don't drive youself insane over something at the moment that has little merit.

You've only been seeing him for 12 days, don't you think you're rushing it a bit? You're going to scare him off if you're already marking your territory. With the text, you had no right going through his phone if you weren't in a serious relationship. Plus, the text was before you and it doesn't even sound that bad. Obviously you have a bad past with trust so I understand. But you can't bring up the girl because you have no grounds. Remain suspicious and see if other hints come up. Good luck.

Well well well, when you go looking you tend to find things that you shouldn't !!! Now you found somethings and you don't know what to do !!! Well first of all, you have to put the past in just what it is the PST.. Unless you attract the same type of men you shouldn't worry so much.. I mean my goodness it's only been 12 days, you must give him time to cut off his old ties if you two are surely going to be a couple.. Give it a try at least a month or 2 and then if you see signs of cheating drop him like a bad case of diarrhea... :)

Firstly, check the date the messages were sent, the phone will show this, you will then know if he has been seeing Jane since you've been friends with him. Secondly, why were you going through his telephone ? It's a little strange to be so suspicious after just 12 days.
Thirdly, to be frank I think you are heading for disaster, it appears that this guy realises that you a weak person and you will be his next prey.
Find someone more worthy of your attention and give this guy a wide berth. I wish you joy.

first of all, you are stupid for going through his phone. what if he went through your phone and found something that you didn't want him to see. What if you had seen a guy before him and was interested in him, but changed your mind. what if its a joke with one of his friends you don't know about. seeing as you have been dating for a whopping 12 days, im sure you already know everything about him and and he is obviously keeping secrets from you. Are you really that stupid to be worrying about this after seeing him for less than two weeks, thats not even exclusive yet. did you forget to take your prozac? Is the doctor too busy to write you a refill?

Second of all you have been seeing eachother for 12 days give me a break. who cares if you have met his family apparently that doesn't hold alot of water these days in thinking the guy wants a relationship. .

if ur not in a commited relationship i see it as u cant get mad about it.have u told him u didnt want him talkin to other females??..there is a big difference in dating someone and being in a realtionship...another thing..if ur just dating its oka.but if ur getting physical...think about what else he's getting physical with...STDS are crazy now a days...
